Job description
Are you an experienced Microsoft Power Platform professional looking for a new challenge? We are currently seeking a skilled Dataverse specialist to join our Edmonton client for an exciting 2 month contract. In this role, you will play a key part in a major Project and Portfolio Management implementation while working from the comfort of your home with only occasional in person meetings. If you have a proven track record of building model driven apps and configuring data models, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Responsibilities
• Execute the Dataverse data model and solution architecture based on provided design documents.
• Download and extend the Microsoft Project Accelerator to meet specific project requirements.
• Configure each Dataverse object exactly as outlined in the design specifications.
• Handle the complete configuration of Dataverse security settings.
• Integrate Planner functionalities into the existing system architecture.
• Develop automated workflows within Microsoft Power Automate.
• Work closely with analysts to establish development standards and transition finished work to the support team.

Qualifications
• Hold a degree in computer science with 3 to 4 years of experience or an equivalent diploma or certificate with 5 to 7 years of experience.
• Demonstrate hands on experience working directly within Microsoft Dataverse.
• Possess a strong background in building and implementing model driven apps.
• Bring proven experience creating effective workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Show strong independent problem solving skills alongside excellent communication abilities for working with cross functional groups.
