Job descriptionKnowledge of WorkBC policies, procedures, and service delivery models Coordination and communication skills across teams, coordinators, and clients Demonstrated ability to resolve client concerns and integrate feedback into service improvements Highly organized with experience improving office systems and workflows Financial and administrative aptitude Strong data quality and reporting skills (DQ reviews, caseloads, KPIs, administrative reports) Ability to develop job aids, process documentation, and support policy / system updates Experience coordinating and case managing The Administrative Services Coordinator supports the Employment Services team by coordinating administrative processes, assisting with data quality and financial supports, and providing program-related services. The role contributes to client and program success by facilitating office systems, supporting staff with resources and training, maintaining compliance with WorkBC policy, and ensuring that administrative practices align with organizational and contractual requirements. Work is primarily performed in an office environment. May require rotating evening shifts every two to three weeks. May encounter interactions with clients who are distressed or uncooperative; requires calm, respectful, and professional responses. Involves periods of computer use, sitting, and light lifting.
Location : Powell River / qathet Regional District
Schedule : Monday-Thursday
Salary Or Wage : $28.80 to $30.53 per hour
Start Date : As soon as possible

Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Certificate in administration, social services, or a related field.
- Recent, related experience of three (3) years.
- Experience working with office systems, records management, and program administration.
- Experience with data quality, reporting, and financial supports.
- Proficiency with MS Office and data management systems.
- Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
