Job Description
The Talent Analyst supports the team with information and process execution on a wide range of talent transactions and programs.
Reporting to the Managing Director, Talent Business Partners, this role will be a key contributor in helping leaders deliver on their business plans through talent.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assists the team with execution of talent processes, seeking alignment, simplification and scalability.
- Provide support for off-boarding activities including handling administrative responsibilities pertaining to departures.
- Using applicable systems generate reports (headcount, movement, open role, development etc.) and aggregate data and resources to enhance talent decisions and processes.
- Builds custom reports when required for the HRBPs and business they support.
- Collaborates with peers across the Talent Department to ensure the effective and efficient operations of talent processes.
- Connects relevant information from various sources to make insightful recommendations to the team on moderately complex issues.
- Maintains understanding of changing internal priorities, as well as external regulations to identify potential areas of vulnerability or risk and recommends improvements.
- Contributes to Group and Department initiatives and projects.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or Certificate in HR or other relevant discipline
- 2+ years of professional experience preferred.
- Foundational knowledge of HR principles and practices.
- Able to self-start, prioritize and organize; a team player who enjoys a high-performance culture and able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure on multiple tasks.
- Proven ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Pro-active with solid prioritization and organization skills.
- Adept at working with and reporting from an HR information system.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Solid, demonstrated communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated good judgment, professionalism, and ability to protect confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, under pressure and with time-sensitive deadlines.
