Maintenance Technician

Compensation & Hours :
The expected salary will be based on experience and current certifications
Position Summary :
- Executing repairs and routine maintenance on plant machinery, equipment, and other mechanical systems
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding machinery as needed
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventative maintenance and inspection schedules
- Utilizing Computer Maintenance Management Software to complete assigned work, see maintenance requests, and order parts
- Maintaining accurate records of repairs, inspections, modifications, and current condition of machinery
- Installing and retrofitting production equipment; fabricating, welding, overhaul of electrical systems, and ensuring the alignment of moving parts
- Assisting with plant shut down operations
- Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols during all repair and maintenance
- Suggesting optimization opportunities in regard to safety, efficiency, and reliability
Required Qualifications :
- 3-5 years’ of experience in a maintenance technician role
- Strong diagnostic, problem solving skills, and ability to brainstorm collaboratively
- Understanding of how to work with a variety of materials including stainless steel and aluminum
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- High attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs safely
Bonus Points For :
- Certification as a HDM, Millwright, Welder, Electrician, etc.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
