Please note, in order to meet timelines, this position is being posted before applications have been approved. Role ProfileReporting to the Senior Manager, Payroll & Compensation Services, the Payroll and Benefits Assistant will provide administrative support to the Payroll department.

Responsibilities : Assist with updating and maintaining employee data in the HRIS, which will include high volume data inputFile documents in the correct employee electronic filing system and create new emloyee files as per file management guidelinesGeneral administrative support as required (correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite, filing, data entry, etc.

Sort and distribute incoming email and help to prepare outgoing email in the department.Assist the Payroll and Benefits team with special needs or projects Qualifications : Enrolled in post-secondary education in related field Ability to work in a team and / or independentlyExceptional communication skills and written skillsStrong organizational, planning and time management skillsAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite Salary : $20.
