Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to support research priority setting for Indigenous Women & Two-spirit persons with sexual dysfunction and genito-pelvic pain(SD / GPP) across Canada.
The overarching goal of the SHAPE Hub is to identify and address gaps that contribute to all Canadians have safe, timely, appropriate, accessible, culturally-informed, and trauma-informed care for SD / GPP.

The incumbent will assist in data collection for a national study aimed at understanding the research priorities of Indigenous women and Two-spirit persons with sexual difficulties and genito-pelvic pain.
This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful research that will help shape health policies and interventions.
Duties include :
1. At the direction of the PI assists in the recruiting of participants for community-based research priority setting survey.
2. Assisting in conducting basic literature reviews, a policy / legislative scan, and in reviewing and assisting with the synthesis of literature and grey information.
3. Assists in obtaining informed consent and maintaining participant confidentiality.
4. Participates in Hub activities, including workshops, and team meetings.
5. Maintains project related records and databases, entering data according to established protocols.
6. Supports the preparation of presentations
7. Performing other related duties as assigned / or required
8. Alerts the Knowledge Mobilization Manager to any unusual situations which may affect the project, and keeps the Manager advised of problems that have arisen or that can be anticipated.
Consequence of Error / Judgement
Errors in data extraction or collection could cause hardship to the projects. Decisions regarding the collection of information can influence the ability to meet project deliverables.
This position requires employees to work under strict confidentiality requirements; internal procedures and policies to protect personal information must be followed.

Reports to the Knowledge Mobilization Manager.

Minimum Qualifications
High school graduation and a minimum one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
