Food & Beverage Supervisor

The Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre in Cranbrook, British Columbia is hiring!

What You Will Do:

• Hire, train, and supervise all restaurant staff
• Provide ongoing training for all new and existing staff, as determined in the evaluation process
• Conduct performance evaluations of the department staff
• Respond to guest concerns quickly and professionally
• Coordinate daily tasks and schedules of the department staff
• Ensure all new employees are properly trained
• Keep work area stocked, organized, and clean at all times
• Ensure work areas and equipment are kept functional and orderly at all times, reporting any deficiencies, as necessary

• Maintains a positive and proactive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Has strong leadership skills
• Has exceptional communication and customer services skills
• Is organized, can perform under pressure within time restraints, and has problem-solving abilities
• Has Food and Beverage Server Certification
• Applies safe work practices

Please Be Aware:

• Shift and weekend work is required
• This job can require standing for long periods of time
• Some physical labour and heavy lifting is required
