Electrical Project Manager
An opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager to join a large, well-known contractor in the lower mainland!
Our client, a well-established and reputable company, is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to contribute to their continued growth.
As part of their team, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing commercial, industrial, and tenant improvement projects.

Your new Role :
Project Planning and Management :
- Develop and manage project schedules, resource plans, procurement, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee projects to ensure the highest quality deliverables for our clients.
- Conduct monthly project billing, reconcile project accounts, and handle ongoing invoicing.
Leadership and Team Support :
- Provide direction, leadership, and support to project team members.
- Collaborate closely with clients and foremen to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage technical staff to achieve project milestones.
Safety and Risk Management :
- Proactively assess risks and develop safety plans in alignment with regulations.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Participate in safety committee meetings.
Client Satisfaction :
- Address client concerns promptly and maintain overall client satisfaction.
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
Subcontractor Management :
- Develop relationships with subcontractors to build a reliable pool of resources.
- Manage subcontractor selection for projects as needed.
Estimation and Documentation :
- Prepare estimates for material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Handle bids, quotations, drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare change order estimates.
What you’ll need to Succeed :
Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience with commercial projects in the local Vancouver Electrical Industry.
Education : Trades Qualified.
Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills : Strong interpersonal abilities.
Technical Proficiency :
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project software.
- Strong computer skills.
Time Management : Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet multiple deadlines.
