What you will do :
Develop the Western Canada showroom strategy, and execute marketing strategy to promote the brand;Influence and guide strategic direction of the organization including overall sales, pricing, and margin objectives;Lead and oversee roles, responsibilities, structure, compensation and execute processes and policies of the organization to profitably maintain and grow market share, sustain customer loyalty, and provide opportunities for growth;Work with the Category Management team on product assortment and supplier alignment while actively managing product positioning and showroom planograms;In close collaboration with the Category Management team, develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure coordination and exceptional service levels;Attend and participate in industry trade shows and events;Develop and implement initiatives to improve market share within diverse business markets;Enhance sales process from customer qualification to final billing;Responsible for day-to-day management of the Western Showroom team;Responsible for implementing sales programs and the achievements of sales targets;Assist in training showroom leaders on products, sales, systems and operations;.Frequent visitation and open communication with responsible showrooms with particular attention to showrooms which may be under-performing.SCOPE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the VP, Western CanadaArea of Responsibility – Western CanadaShowroom teams will report to local showroom Manager or in case of no showroom Manager, then team reports directly to Regional Showroom Manager supported by local Branch Manager.Meet (virtually or in person) with Regional Showroom Management team and Sr. Showroom Manager for Corp Communications, Vendor Info, Strategic Planning and Updates, etcConduct annual reviews and mid-year reviews.What you will bring :
8-10 years of showroom management experience (Area Showroom Manager, Showroom Manager experience strongly preferred)Multi-site experience requiredUniversity Degree or, equivalent experienceIndustry experience is an assetRetail / merchandising / digital experience strongly preferredAbility to develop and execute strategic plans across a matrix structureBusiness acumen on driving sales & margin growthAbility to communicate and influence at all levels of the organizationAbility to build strong relationshipsEffectively demonstrates leadership skillsAbility to manage competing demandsAbility to make timely decisions, exhibit good judgmentMust be willing to travel throughout the country (including overnights)Salary Range : $95,000 - $120,000
