Food Waste and Sustainability Officer Food Service Industry (Full-Time)

Reporting to the Chief Steward the Food Waste and Sustainability Officer will lead the implementation and monitoring of sustainability initiatives within our food service operations. This role will focus on reducing food waste ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) standards managing the Table des Chef program and managing data entry for ORBISK and GIAA. The successful candidate will work closely with the kitchen procurement team and operations teams to promote sustainable practices and achieve our waste reduction goals. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the :

Food Waste Monitoring and Reduction :

• Track analyze and report on food waste data using ORBISK and GIAA.
• Develop and implement action plans to reduce food waste across all operational areas.
• Conduct regular audits of food waste and provide recommendations to reduce waste at the source.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to optimize menu planning and portion control strategies.

This position requires working in both office and kitchen environments. Occasional travel to various operational sites may be required.
