In this role, you will :
Responsibility 1 – Manage Data Provisioning & Reporting Team
- Oversees members of the Data Provisioning & Reporting Team and performs managerial duties, including, but not limited to, approves time sheets, vacation, performance evaluations, etc.
- Develops workplans for the Data & Reporting team, and feeds into planning work for specific projects and BAU activities, directly negotiating deliverables and timelines with the leadership of other teams within Philanthropy & Marketing.
- Provides excellent customer service to customers and external suppliers.
- Investigates and appropriately responds to escalated customers / external suppliers concerns and questions and resolves issues relating to data inaccuracies in an efficient manner using internal and external resources as required.
Responsibility 2 – Maintain and Creation of Reporting & Dashboards
Maintains security structure, and reporting architecture within Power BI for Philanthropy & Marketing.Supports the migration of PowerBI report and dashboard sources to new enterprise-wide EDP.Works with specific teams to identify and create metrics that indicate success.Monitors and reports program results on an ongoing basis and provides key performance information for Philanthropy Team on behalf of the Data Team.Responsibility 3 – Data Management
Documents the processes to import and export data and ensures a high standard of efficiency and accuracy.Communicates, advocates, and collaborates proactively with internal and external suppliers to ensure technical requirements are met for day to day and special appeal operations.Collaborates with the different teams / departments to implement best practice, maintain policies, procedures, controls, and ensure adherence to standards.Ensures all work assigned to the Data team aligns with data governance according to the Data Governance Framework for CRC.What we are looking for :
Post-secondary university degree in a relevant discipline. 10 or more years of related work experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Superior Analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information and communicate it to a variety of audiences.Demonstrated problem solving ability and hands-on implementation experience.Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of sustained concentration.High-level of knowledge and experience of Power BI and SQL.High-level of proficiency and accuracy in Microsoft Office tools.Knowledge of Blackbaud CRM preferred but not essential.Strong oral and written communication skills. Fluency in English is required, French is an asset.Ability to effectively develop strong cross-functional working relationships, evidenced by a track record of teamwork and collaboration, building relationships within and beyond the Philanthropy department.Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and changing environment with multiple conflicting demands.Good knowledge of ticketing systems (JIRA is an asset).Experience with knowledgebase software (especially Confluence & SharePoint).Knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.Knowledge of and experience with technical skills such as SQL and DAX.Exceptional organizational, time management, technical and numeracy skills.Problem solving and analytical thinking to tackle each ask and issue problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.Strong interpersonal capabilities.Working conditions :
