The Finance team is looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join its team. Reporting to the Global Head of Tax, you will be a key member for the Tax team.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare the tax provision and corporate tax returns, including SR&ED and other tax credits claims
  • Prepare tax forms, such as : T106, T1134, T1135, T2054, T2057, NR4, T4A-NR, T5, GST / QST returns, etc.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant tax balances and calculations, such as : safe income, tax surplus, ACB, CDA, etc.
  • Review commercial contracts to assess tax risks
  • Coordinate tax audits with authorities;
  • Coordinate and follow-up on the Company's tax instalments;
  • Participate in the preparation of transfer pricing contemporaneous documentation;
  • Keep track of changes to existing tax laws and regulations;
  • Conduct tax research and analysis on significant tax positions in order to properly manage the related tax risks;
  • Collaborate and support the Tax team on contemplated projects, such as : acquisitions, tax planning, restructurings, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned / required.

Skills Knowledge & Abilities :

  • Effective oral and written communication skills (French and English) given legislation to apply according to our presence in different countries
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Environment, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Autonomous, responsible, and resourceful individual
  • Must be able to manage and follow all tax files in progress with diligence and professionalism
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Collaborative mindset; driven towards solutions
