Alcor Solutions is seeking to hire a Program Manager. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing large enterprise ServiceNow systems implementation programs.
The selected candidate is someone who can effectively charter, scope, organize and deliver outcomes for our fast growing strategic practice areas.
Strong organizational and communication skills as well as program management skills in an IT technical environment are essential to this role given its dynamic cross functional engagement and leadership level interaction.
What you get to do in this role :
- You will define, control and communicate program scope for our automation practice, setting and managing practice workstreams and program timelines for clients, managing day-to-day tasks, risks, dependencies, etc.
- Develop and maintain key program management deliverables for practice and during client implementations (i.e. program resource plans, roadmap, workflows, dependencies, risks and mitigation, implementation and change plans)
- Manage program activities from inception to measurement and leadership level communication with client
- Manage, prioritize and deliver multiple initiatives across practice teams during implementations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create program deliverable scope definition, work effort estimate, timeline / roadmap and business / technical requirements document
- Perform critical path analysis and create / augment program schedules and resource plans
- Manage day-to-day work plans and resources across multiple clients, and practice areas : cloud, ServiceNow ITOM including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB, hardware and software asset.
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has :
- 8+ years of demonstrable expertise managing programs in an IT technology based, enterprise software / SaaS environment.
- 8+ ServiceNow experience with multiple implementations required.
- Hands on program management experience in IT infrastructure operations; previous experience leading and delivering for enterprise programs highly desirable
- Energetic, proactive self-starter with a proven track record for getting things done in a high growth fast paced environment
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, connect the dots and stay focused on desired outcomes
- Demonstrated skill at building trusted relationships through influencing others, particularly with executive leadership teams
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate with and influence both leadership and working teams, demonstrating superior influence skills and credibility to act;
make sound decisions and drive alignment
- Ability to think strategically, understand the big picture and connect the dots between strategy and operational priorities, as well as translate the strategy into effective execution and tangible outcomes
- Creative thinking, flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to bring new ideas and approaches to the table, as well as the ability to tailor the approach to meet Client's needs and quickly pivot as implementation circumstances evolve
- Effective communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing; high proficiency in MS Office suite
- Strong level of comfort with business and technical discussions, with the ability to understand and articulate the business impacts of technical actions and vice versa
