BURNCO has a fantastic opportunity for a go getter to join our company as Corporate Receptionist based out of our Calgary, Corporate Office .

Reporting to the Director Human Resources, you will delight our visitors both on the phone and in person with your cheerful and helpful manner, ensuring our customers, vendors, and employees have a positive experience when interacting with BURNCO Rock Products Ltd.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Greet visitors and answering phones at the corporate office in Calgary
  • Track office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Manage office supplies including requisitions for corporate purchases
  • Coordinate corporate meetings and events and liaise with various offices of BURNCO
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail and courier services
  • Assist Executives with reporting and presentations for corporate meetings.
  • Assist HR with events planning, orientation and employee events as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Location & Hours

  • You will work out of our Calgary Corporate Head Office
  • Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am 5 : 00 pm

What We Would Like From You

Requirements :

  • 1 to 3 years’ proven experience and hands-on coordination of the day-to-day administrative and clerical functions of the Reception Desk.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Post-secondary education in business, administration, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to provide a satisfactory criminal record check.

  • Excellent computer skills including the use of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS)
  • Proven ability to act with discretion
