Your Opportunity

BDO Digital's Oracle NetSuite ERP Practice is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager with a proactive approach and a desire to succeed.

The ideal candidate will be able to think creatively about opportunities and client needs in relation to the NetSuite ERP consulting and implementation services that BDO provides.

They will demonstrate a consistent commitment to excellence and a relentless pursuit of positive outcomes.

The selected candidate will be a key contributor responsible for generating profitable growth by acquiring new clients and collaborating on NetSuite sales pursuits with a keen focus on delivering client value and experience.

Achievement in this position hinges on your ability to build relationships, manage process, and generate opportunity across several key industries.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities and challenges faced by current and potential BDO clients
  • Develop an understanding of BDO's NetSuite professional services and effectively communicate their value to clients / prospects
  • Identify and prospect key contacts within target accounts and collaborate on leads generated by our internal demand generation team.
  • Build, manage, and nurture relationships with client / prospect stakeholders and influencers, adopting a trustworthy and value-driven approach in all interactions
  • Deliver presentations, support thought leadership content, and host webinars to existing and prospective BDO clients, partners, and team members

Your experience and education

  • Previous experience selling NetSuite ERP professional services and 5+ years of proven business development (sales) experience in the mid-market and enterprise segments
  • Ability to establish and cultivate relationships, credibility, and trust with individuals at all levels of both client organizations and within BDO's professional services organization
  • Equally adept at acquiring new clients, growing existing clients by cross selling, leading pursuit teams and providing sales leadership within the region
  • Experience in professional services sales is an asset
  • Experience selling into key industries in the GTA is an asset
  • Verifiable track record of success in meeting targets
  • Results-driven mentality, displaying a sense of urgency and actively pursuing issue resolution and opportunities
  • Post Secondary Education or Equivalent Work Experience
  • A team-oriented mindset, recognizing the importance of individual contributions to overall success
