Systems Support Customer Service Representative (CSR)
The Systems Support Customer Service Representative (Systems Support CSR) is a hybrid customer-facing and system-support role designed to strengthen the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of critical Customer Service, Dispatch and Operations processes for our Ottawa locations.
The primary focus of this position is delivering exceptional customer service through handling customer inquiries, processing orders, managing payments, while also serving as a technical and systems resource, committed to data accuracy and integrity, for the customer service and dispatch teams.
The ideal candidate is personable and customer-oriented, yet highly detail-driven and systems-minded. Success in this role requires strong technological literacy, the ability to learn new systems quickly, analytical thinking, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
What will YOU be doing as the Systems Support Customer Service Representative?
- Customer Service and Order Processing.
- Perform daily Customer Service Representative functions, including answering phone, email, and in-hours customer inquiries.
- Accurately process customer orders, obtain payments, and manage receivables as required.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and service issues.
- Systems and Internal Support.
- Provide order entry and system troubleshooting support to other customer service staff.
- Act as subject matter resource for customer service systems, including Business Central and Dynamics CRM and workflows.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve order entry or system-related issues.
- Assist in the seed and fertilizer inventory management process at the Ottawa location.
- Order Accuracy and Dispatch Support.
- Ensure all order information is completed and accurate.
- Translate delivery information into dispatching system (Progression Live).
- Geocode order locations accurately to support efficient routing and dispatch planning.
- Assist in the daily dispatching process.
- Act as primary support for drivers at the Customer Service Center.
- Learn dispatch operations with the goal of serving as a backup dispatcher when required.
- Cross-Functional and Operational Support.
- Assist the production department with administrative and system-related tasks, including supplies and parts ordering, timesheets, and other assigned duties.

- Previous experience in a customer service, order entry, or administrative support role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and colleagues.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong comfort with technology and the ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems.
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven reliability, accountability, and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
- Experience with dispatching systems, routing tools, or ERP systems is an asset but not required.
