As a Junior Accountant reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records by focusing primarily on reconciliations while also providing support in other key accounting functions.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities :

Reconciliation Focus :

• Perform reconciliations for multiple accounts
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding items in a timely manner
• Prepare and post journal entries related to reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all reconciliation activities

General Accounting Support :

• Assist with month-end close procedures, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth accounting operations

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, V / X / HLOOKUPs)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner
