Position Summary
The Claims Administration Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the claims team by ensuring claims are opened accurately and timely. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Schedule : Monday to Friday - Start time at 7 : 30am
What you will do
- Ensure daily claims summary and all claim files are opened in a timely manner.
- Acknowledge customer claims and follow up as necessary with other departments to obtain required information or documentation
- Receive incoming calls, send and receive emails and appropriately connect inquiries to the Claims Analyst
- Monitor, manage and respond to all emails in the Certificate of Insurance (COI) inbox; coordinate with broker to obtain and provide required documentation
- Prepare, maintain and update various spreadsheets and reports as required
- Update records as required within Radius (internal system)
- Support the claims team with administrative tasks as needed to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery
