Senior Accountant - Remote 12 month Contract

Are you ready for your next contract role? Are you available to start work immediately? If so, then read on. Our client, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant for a 12 month contract. Our client is in the process of transition their accounting so this role is fully remote for the entire contract length. In this role, you will help with the month end close.

• The main responsibilities for this role include the following;
• Journal entries and account reconciliations
• Intercompany transactions between business units
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Variance analysis
• To be considered for this role of Accountant, our client is looking for someone with the following skills / qualifications;
• CPA Designation (or close to completion)
• At least 3 years experience doing the month end close
• Very strong systems and MS Excel skills (pivots, lookups)
• Strong communication skills
