Job Description :

Air Cargo Screeners ensure regulatory compliance is maintained with all applicable laws and regulations in accordance with the Aviation Security legislation and UPS standards. This position is also responsible for ensuring the daily operational quality of the facility’s screening process.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity that offers :

Shift :

  • Monday through Friday (5 days a week)
  • Start time :   4 PM
  • This is a part time role which is typically 3-5 hours a day.  However, depending on the volume, employees may be required to stay longer as they are dealing with time sensitive packages that need to be distributed so they make service.
  • Location : 8825 Campeau Drive, Kanata ON
  • Responsibilities :

  • Ensure all UPS packages are screened
  • Safeguard that only authorized personnel enter screening area
  • Maintain detailed documentation / record keeping
  • Work within a time-sensitive and fast paced warehouse environment
  • Compliance training

  • Qualifications / Skills :

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Previous law and security education or experience an asset
  • Able to lift up to 70lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
