Sales Support Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for accurately recording customer purchase orders in the order management system.
Each day, you will ensure timely cross-functional issue resolution, including order cleaning for both manual and electronic orders.
You will also showcase your expertise by utilizing the necessary tools and adhering to Service Level Agreements. Your responsibilities :
- Accurately and efficiently enter customer orders, ensuring all details, including product information, quantities, pricing, and delivery instructions, to allow order execution in the system.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations (planning, shipping, purchasing, etc.), Customer Service, to clarify order specifications and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Issue acknowledgments of receipt of orders to customers.
- Prepare shipping requests with all required information.
- Inform customers of delivery delays.
- Collect and archive documentation regarding the orders and records assumptions and decisions taken during the process in the systems in scope of responsibility.
- Continuously assess the end-to-end order entry workflow, identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procedures, reduce errors, and enhance the overall efficiency of the order entry process.
- Implement improvements, such as automation.
Qualifications for the role
- College or university diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, or related field.
- Experience in order entry, data entry, or a related role, emphasizing a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in data entry software, order processing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.); SAP (Required).
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to details, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- An initiative-taking mindset and dedication to process improvement.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills; and comfort in written and oral communications in English. French an asset
