Experience in carpentry and installing custom kitchen cabinetry, walk-in closet systems, custom furniture, millwork and built-in units is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Install custom cabinets, including but not limited to kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, and wall units
- Complete cabinet installation projects according to specifications and blueprints provided
- Ensure all installed cabinets are properly secured and levelled
- Effectively communicate with project managers and clients to provide regular updates on progress and ensure timelines are being met
- Accurately measure and cut materials to fit space requirements
- Oversized cabinet and millwork assembly on site
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in cabinet installation or a related field
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project requirements.
