We are seeking a talented and experienced Human Resources Consultant to join our remarkable human resources team supporting Mental Health & Addictions , Shared Health.

You will have the opportunity to showcase your generalist human resources skills and contribute to the growth and success of Mental Health & Addictions services across Manitoba.
Experience
5 years of progressive experience providing generalist human resources management support to management in a unionized environment, preferably in a large multi-enterprise and / or public sector organization;
experience working in the health sector is an asset.
Education
Degree / Diploma / Certificate : Undergraduate degree in human resources, or in a relevant discipline combined with a post-graduate certificate in human resources management from a recognized post-secondary institution.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Certification / Licensure / Registration : Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation with current membership in good standing or equivalent is preferred.
Certifications in project management, human resources, change management, and quality processes are assets.
Qualifications and Skills
Demonstrated leadership capabilities as described in the framework including a passion for customer service.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings, and to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg.
Interruptions to respond to questions from executives and partner organizations are common, requiring managing multiple priorities and competing demands;
dedicated and focused time for planning and concentration can be scheduled. Must have a valid Manitoba driver’s license and use of a personal motor vehicle for regular travel within the province.
