MP Lundy Construction, a 50+ year old construction management company in Ottawa, is looking for a dynamic and energetic Technical Coordinator to join their team. Reporting to the VP of Construction and working closely with our Project Managers, the Technical Coordinator’s responsibilities will include :
- Preparation, distribution, and control of project documentation
- Review specifications for submittal requirements
- Obtain the proper bonding and insurance as required by projects
- Manage all finance-related paperwork associated with a project
- Prepare monthly billings to clients
- Review and approval of shop drawing
- Coordination of SI / CCN / CD between trades
- Keep drawing markups current
- Attending project meetings as required
- Preparation of operation and maintenance manuals
- Assist the Estimating department in the closing of tenders
Experience & Qualifications
Post-secondary education focusing on the construction industry3 to 5 years of related experienceProficient in Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel and Word)Highly organizedStrong communicator including strong reading / writing skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to set priorities to enable successful performanceStrong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve and provide recommendationsAbility to meet deadlinesExperience with Procore would be considered an assetMP Lundy Construction offers a positive and healthy company culture where you can grow professionally, competitive salary, comprehensive health benefits, matching RRSP program, and bonus opportunities.
