Digital Hardware Sustaining Engineer – Nokia

Join our team in the IP Routing Hardware organization, expanding our product portfolio in Data Center and Carrier Service Provider markets. The organization is flat and lean, giving engineers high visibility and direct impact on product design.

Responsibilities

• Test and debug complex multi‑layer printed circuit boards.
• Provide engineering support (4‑line support) for hardware related field issues.
• Provide engineering support for manufacturing test issues.
• Resolve field and factory issues quickly and professionally.
• Provide product lifecycle support through bug fixes, enhancements, and cost reductions.
• Address component end‑of‑life (EOL) by qualifying alternative sources.
• Verify PCB designs or components under thermal and environmental conditions.
• Utilize factory and field metrics to detect hardware quality issues and work to resolve them.
