How you'll make a difference :

• Exploration of innovative design solutions as part of the creative process within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team dynamic
• Contribute to the implementation process of complex, high profile, integrated design projects
• Resolve complex technical and design issues with project teams
• Deliver projects efficiently and effectively through inspirational leadership of the urban planning and design team members
• Support the continued development of in-house expertise and methodologies
• Exploration of innovative design solutions as part of the creative process within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team dynamic
• Ongoing development of expertise in design communication, including technical drawings and detailing

Who you are :

• An accredited degree Urban Planning. A Master’s degree is an asset.
• Eligible for Registered Professional Planner (RPP)
• 4 to 7 years of experience in municipal, community, land use or transit planning, ideally in a consulting environment
• Experience with programs such as Adobe Suite, GIS, 3D modelling programs is an asset.
• Able to lead small projects and teams with minimal supervision, including scope development, team management, consultant coordination and client management.
• Experience in the project planning, design, and technical production processes,
• Strong visual and graphic communication skills a desirable asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on effective collaboration and integration
