Manager, Mortgage Pricing Analytics

As the Manager, Mortgage Pricing Analytics, you will coordinate and implement specific Mortgage Pricing Transformation analytics work streams, as well as lead various working teams while working closely with all relevant stakeholders that contribute to mortgage analytics and key performance indicators.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will :

  • Champion a client focused culture to deepen relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Support the configuration and execution of mortgage pricing optimization activities.
  • Perform and review optimization scenarios and support recommendations for changes to client segment level mortgage rates.
  • Validate and test optimization scenario results to ensure accuracy and reasonability.
  • Support the collection of all inputs to the mortgage rate optimization process to ensure client segment level mortgage rates are in line with the current market conditions and segmentation schema.
  • Deliver business insights by effectively leveraging technical tools including SAS Enterprise Guide, Base SAS, Python, and Power Bi for all management reporting activities.
  • Support the continuous improvement of tools and reports that inform mortgage pricing and product analytics going forward.
  • Ensure data feeds that support analysis are available and accurate.
  • Monitor market conditions and the competitive landscape.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have :

  • Post-Secondary education focused in Business, Math, Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • Analytics focused work experience, with knowledge and experience using tools such as SAS Enterprise Guide, Base SAS, Python and Power Bi / Tableau for data reporting and analytics.
  • Knowledge of SQL with experience working on enterprise data warehouse platforms and enterprise data lake platforms (i.e.

DB2 / SQL, Server / Hadoop).

  • Ability to source and interpret data, perform analyses and make informed recommendations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to engage and manage stakeholders.
  • Experience and familiarity with analytic processes and fact-based decision making.
  • A high degree of flexibility to adapt to a wide variety of tasks and changing priorities.
  • Pricing methodological knowledge including quantification of customer value and price elasticity of demand is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Sales Management and the Retail Sales Process is considered an asset.
