Required Skills & Experience
- At least 5 years of experience selling capital equipment to rental, civil, industrial, or construction companies
- Needs to have a strong understanding of the pump industry. Other relevant industries include the rental industry, oil & gas, and wastewater
o Technical understanding of pumps
- At least a few years of experience working in Canada need to understand the Canadian culture
- Proven track record in developing sales channels and managing accounts with a consultative, long-term approach *need candidates with tenure at previous companies and looking for long term opportunity*
- Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working at pump companies is valuable
- Preferably speaks French
Job Description
In this role, you will drive sales growth and expand market presence for dewatering pump equipment across Canada. Working remotely and reporting to the Vice President of the Canada Region, you'll develop and manage sales channels with dealers, strategic accounts, and rental companies to increase market share and sales volume for our products.
You’ll be responsible for managing dealer and sales revenue, promoting customer applications, and addressing their needs.
This involves arranging product demonstrations, providing detailed reports, and collaborating with Product Managers to identify new business opportunities.
You'll use the SAP CRM system to track sales proposals, pipeline development, and monitor pricing to stay competitive and meet profit targets.
With up to 70% travel, you'll help position our company as a key supplier in industries such as electronics, medical research, renewable energy, and infrastructure.
Your role will leverage your technical knowledge of pumps to support sales efforts and enhance customer engagement.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
