ROCKWOOL is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Western Canada. The territory for this position is British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, ON.

The ideal candidate will be based in Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver with 35% overnight travel required . This position reports to the Director of Sales, Canada.

What You Will Be Doing

ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.

In this role you will be responsible for leading a regional team of sales professionals in keeping with ROCKWOOL policies, providing motivation and guidance to ensure that agreed upon targets are met or exceeded.

  • Drive profitable growth within the sales region
  • Assume full responsibility for sales volume, revenue and margin targets
  • Cultivate relationships with colleagues, customers, and key stakeholders
  • Lead project tracking with the Specification Manager and execute a pull-through strategy
  • Conduct strategic account planning sessions with key customers
  • Provide ongoing market analysis to identify new opportunities for growth
  • Develop a comprehensive sales plan aimed at achieving goals and review quarterly
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts to the Director of Sales
  • Provide analytics to effectively drive growth and for internal reporting needs
  • Make full use of all digital tools including CRM tracking 100% of activity on a weekly basis
  • Facilitate customer meetings with the Director of Sales
  • Live the ROCKWOOL values and provide regional leadership

What You Offer

  • 5 years of experience in senior sales roles leading teams
  • 5 years in Building Materials industry selling solutions
  • College education preferred
  • Strong track record of mentoring and growing high performance teams
  • Actively works with customers / clients to identify needs & create proposals
  • Skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (presentations) and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel 35% overnight

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $135,000. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.

This position is bonus eligible.
