Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for :
- Financial Reporting : Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting : Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
Provide insightful financial forecasts.
- Cash Management : Oversee cash flow and liquidity management, optimizing working capital and minimizing financial risks.
- Tax Compliance : Ensure timely and accurate preparation of corporate tax returns and compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Audit Coordination : Facilitate and manage external audits, working closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation and address inquiries
- Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process enhancements, implement best practices, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) is an asset
- 5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced MS Excel user and experience with Sage300 is highly regarded
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
