Technical Consultant (datawarehouse / BI)

Our client is a worldwide leader in business intelligence and analytics. They have engaged ROSS ( www.getROSS.com ) to help them recruit an Intermediate or Senior Technical Consultant. ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or site HR and Recruitment solutions complimented by leading edge open-source HRIS software.

This is a permanent position.

You will be architecting / designing and developing, delivering and deploying BI applications for our client's customers. You will work with their sales / presales team to grow existing business and win new business as the key technical resource.

Our client will consider both intermediate and senior consultants.

You will :

• Understand and translate client’s business requirements into workable technical solutions.
• Participate in application design and architecture.
• Install and configure technology and solutions.
• Plan and develop core application components, with an emphasis on BI (Business Intelligence) and ETL.
• Complete all levels of application testing and q / a.
• Prepare all required documentation (specifications, design, system, training).
• Install and configure our client's software as required.
• Ensure up-to-date knowledge in industry business and technology solutions, through self-motivated approach to continuous learning.
• Provide presentations, internally and / or with clients, as required.
• Mentor other consultants as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
