Senior 3D Animator

BKOM Studios is recruiting a Senior Animator to developvarious game IPs for the PC and console markets. We are looking foran experienced Animator whose main responsibility will be to createanimations for different objects characters and environments.

Incollaboration with members of the artistic department this personwill work closely with other interdisciplinarydepartments.

• Create animations for characters andobjects;
• Respect the style and vision of theproject;
• Workin collaboration with other 3Danimators;
• Beable to fully understand and dissect game designdocuments;
• Review rigs and be able to assess requests foroptimization or additions based on differentprojects;
• Provide feedback on his work with the artistic directorto ensure respect for the artisticstyle;
• Integrate animations into the gameengine;
• Experience with animation builds pipelines of thedifferent states of the characters / objects in a game engine byworking jointly with theprogrammers.

Profil

• Degree in multimedia 3Danimation or visual effects (or equivalent);
• Have10 years of experience in the video gameindustry;
• Have deliveredconsole and PC gaming IP;
• Knowledge Of Unreal Unity orany other proprietary game engines;
• Indepth knowledgeof animation production software;
• Experience in thetechnical approach and stylistic variations of video game animation(Keyframe mocap stop motion cycles etc.);
• Fundamentalunderstanding of the art of traditional animation 2D digitalanimation;
• Ability to document yourprocess;
• Selfreliant and be a teamplayer;
• Demonstrateinitiative;
• Strong communicationskills;
• Have the desire toinnovate;
• Ability to work within thetechnical constraints of the project;
• Fluency in Frenchand English (spoken and written);
• Experience incinematographic and architectural or industrial animation(Asset);
• Understanding or experiencein VFX (Asset).
