Senior Animator
Responsibilities :
We are looking for a talented and experienced cinematic animator to join our team and work on an exciting new video game project.
You will be responsible for creating stunning and immersive pre-rendered cinematic sequences in UE5 that enrich the narrative of our game.
Construct, stage, and frame compelling cinematic sequences using previz, camera, scene assembly, keyframe and mocap animation techniques.
- Collaborate with directors, writers, designers, and other animators to ensure the quality and consistency of cinematics across the game.
- Design cinematography and choreography based on scripts and storyboards to shape the heroes and main storyline.
- Apply your artistic skills and technical knowledge to create immersive and expressive character animations.
- Troubleshoot and fix animation issues as they arise.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of professional experience as a cinematic animator in the AAA video game industry.
- Expertise in Maya or equivalent 3D animation software.
- Strong understanding of cinematography principles, camera language, and storytelling techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment under tight deadlines.
- Portfolio or reel demonstrating your cinematic animation skills.
Nice to have :
- Experience working on AAA video game titles or top tier game trailers
- Experience working on Realistic Military Warfare First Person Shooting game.
- Experience with Unreal Engine or similar game engines.
- Experience with motion capture editing and cleanup tools such as MotionBuilder or Motive.
- Capable of Facial Animation work.
- Passion for video games and interest in the genre of our project
