Job Title : Hydrogeologist
Overview :
As a Hydrogeologist, you'll lead groundwater assessment projects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. You'll provide technical guidance, mentorship, and project oversight to achieve successful outcomes.
Project Management :
- Develop cost estimates and Scopes of Work aligned with project goals.
- Review historical data and provide senior-level oversight on project deliverables.
Technical Expertise and Mentorship :
- Provide guidance and training to staff on contaminant hydrogeology.
- Mentor junior colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Collaboration and Client Interaction :
- Interact with clients to address project needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Participate in technical meetings to share insights and expertise.
Continuous Improvement :
- Develop and implement procedures to improve project efficiency.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide mentorship for performance enhancement.
Education and Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or equivalent.
- Professional Designation of P.Geol. with at least 5 years of experience in groundwater assessment projects.
- Proficiency in hydrogeological principles and related technical areas.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Requirements :
- Adhere to company HSE policies and procedures.
- Comply with all relevant safety standards and procedures.
- Promptly report incidents and hazards to supervisory personnel.
- Use equipment according to specifications and SOPs.
- Participate in workplace safety initiatives.
