Our client in North York, ON is looking for a permanent fulltime Payroll Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities :

  • Employee Master File changes (new employee, garnishee, benefit, banking info, Salary Changes, Classification Changes)
  • Data entry (time sheet, pay adjustment, expenses, bonus, commission, deduction)
  • Process payroll and print various reports for; supervisor’s review and acquiring authorization from senior management, payroll records and distribute to employees (pay stub)
  • Create and submit EFT file online to Financial Institution and ensure receipt of the same and download / print bank reports
  • Terminations & ROE submission online
  • Record time off (vacation, sick days)
  • Post processed and create new batches
  • Cheque request to the Accounts Payable (AP) department for Source Deduction Remittance (SDR) and provide to the Banking Department on Fridays.
  • Update Union Maintenance Table Rate, Benefits & Deductions

Qualifications :

  • 3 years of previous payroll processing experience
  • Previous experience working in a unionized environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
