Our client in North York, ON is looking for a permanent fulltime Payroll Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities :
- Employee Master File changes (new employee, garnishee, benefit, banking info, Salary Changes, Classification Changes)
- Data entry (time sheet, pay adjustment, expenses, bonus, commission, deduction)
- Process payroll and print various reports for; supervisor’s review and acquiring authorization from senior management, payroll records and distribute to employees (pay stub)
- Create and submit EFT file online to Financial Institution and ensure receipt of the same and download / print bank reports
- Terminations & ROE submission online
- Record time off (vacation, sick days)
- Post processed and create new batches
- Cheque request to the Accounts Payable (AP) department for Source Deduction Remittance (SDR) and provide to the Banking Department on Fridays.
- Update Union Maintenance Table Rate, Benefits & Deductions
Qualifications :
- 3 years of previous payroll processing experience
- Previous experience working in a unionized environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills
