Intent of the process
This inventory will be used for various tenures (indeterminate, deployment, specified period, assignment, secondment). Applicants who meet the essential qualifications will have their application included in the inventory for this ongoing selection process. As positions become available, applicants meeting the initial screening requirements identified by the hiring manager may be contacted and referred for consideration. Your application in this inventory will be active for 100 days. Information you must provide
In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
EDUCATION
Graduation with a Physiotherapy degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Eligible for an unrestricted licence to practice as a physiotherapist in a province or territory of Canada.
EXPERIENCE
EX1. Experience as a physiotherapist in the management of an active adult outpatient population with mixed orthopaedic-sports medicine conditions.
EX2. Experience in using objective measurement tools to assess impairments, disabilities or functional performance.
EX3. Significant and recent experience managing a full adult outpatient orthopaedic or musculoskeletal caseload.
Sufficiency of experience may be determined by the Canadian Forces Health Services Group Credentialing Committee or Professional Technical Network.

CERTIFICATION
Certification (or some courses completed) related to exercise physiology or prescription of strengthening exercises.
Certification (or some courses completed) in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy.
Certification (or some courses completed) in “McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy”.
Certification (or some courses completed) in the management of concussion.
Certification (or some courses completed) in acupuncture, dry needling, or intramuscular stimulation.
EXPERIENCE
AEX1. Experience working in a collaborative and multidisciplinary practice environment.
AEX2. Experience in the management of complex rehabilitation cases such as minor traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, polytraumas (multiple fractures, amputations, head trauma, etc.).
AEX3. Experience working with Canadian Armed Forces members or public safety personnel.

Reliability Status security clearance
Continuous registration, in good standing, with the provincial or territory body regulating the physiotherapy profession. Adherence to the Defence Code of Values and Ethics and related policies. If your Values and Ethics do not align at any point, you may be eliminated from further consideration.
