Job Title : Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst
You will play a crucial role in the implementation of a brand-new in-house built application that takes data feeds from Bloomberg OMS AIM and transforms the data to feed the client's internal systems.
This is a 1-year contract position supporting the client's subsidiary, with a start date as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities :
- Gather and document comprehensive business requirements from the business team
- Translate the business requirements into clear and detailed technical specifications for the development team
- Collaborate closely with the Bloomberg tech team and the client's system teams to ensure the data transformation requirements are well-defined and implemented
- Participate actively in the development, testing, and implementation phases of the project
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to the development team as needed
- Act as the bridge between the business and technical stakeholders, effectively managing communication and expectations
Required Qualifications and Skills :
- Strong business analysis and requirement gathering skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Familiarity with financial products and terminology, including bonds, FRNs, IRS, FX, repos, loans, and deposits
- SQL skills and experience working with data transformation are a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Desired Qualifications :
- Experience working on data integration or system-to-system transformation projects
- Knowledge of financial systems and data sources (e.g., Bloomberg OMS AIM)
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies
