Description
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates for the position of an intermediate level Environmental Planner to support Parsons Infrastructure business.
Parsons is a flexible employer that is open to staff being mapped to our offices in the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, or Halifax.
The Environmental Planner’s key responsibilities will include working with and supporting senior Environmental Planners and mentoring junior staff on Environmental Assessment (EA) projects (Municipal and Transit projects, and Environmental Impact Statements / Environmental Effect Evaluations for municipal, provincial, and federal projects.)
The Environmental Planner’s key responsibilities include :
- Be involved in a range of infrastructure projects including report writing, evaluation of alternatives, impact assessment and development of project consultation programs
- Assist with proposal preparation
- Client Liaison
- Coordination of subconsultants
- Lead / coordinate EA processes
