PRIMARY ROLE : Provides 3D modeling and drafting support to Project Management and other aspects of the business as required.

Creation of drawing packages using 3D CAD (drawings, renderings, and other required documents).

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES : Modeling of Client and PM / Project requirements using 3D CAD software.Creation of Client Drawing packages, Room Layouts, high level console design, and other related documentsCreates initial level renderings as requiredCollaborates on project related issues with Project Management, Design, and Sales

RELATIONSHIPS / INTERACTION : This position interacts with Project Management, Marketing, Sales, Design, Procurement, and various manufacturing departments as required.

EDUCATION / experience : Technical Diploma or Equivalent Experience2 years practical Drafting, 3D Modeling experience (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or equivalent).

Knowledge of Rendering & Architectural software (Showcase / 3ds Max / Revit) an assetAutodesk Inventor Certified User or equivalentKnowledge of MS Office applications

SKILLS / Competencies :

Modeling Expertise : Ideally a demonstrated knowledge of Evans product lines if candidate is within the organization.Capable of Modeling, creating drawings, renderings and other related documents for client drawing packages, with minimal supervision.

Drafting Expertise : Knowledge and effective use of Evans Modeling conventionsExcellent attention to Modeling and drafting details with minimal errors.

Creativity, Problem Resolution & Efficiencies : Able to understand Client / Project related issues and provide effective and efficient solutions to project related concerns, considering customer’s expectations, and Modeling / product capabilities.
