The IT Change Manager to lead and manage the change management process for our client's Salesforce ERP implementation. This role is critical in ensuring that changes to systems, processes, and technologies are introduced in a controlled and coordinated manner, minimizing disruption and maximizing business value.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive IT change management framework aligned with Salesforce ERP project goals.Define and manage change types (standard, normal, emergency) and ensure adherence to governance processes.Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and facilitate change approvals.Collaborate with Salesforce architects, developers, and business analysts to assess the impact of changes across modules (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Financials).Ensure changes to Apex code, Lightning components, Flows, and metadata are properly reviewed, tested, and documented.Coordinate sandbox refreshes, release schedules, and deployment windows.Communicate change plans, schedules, and impacts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Develop and deliver change-related documentation, training materials, and user communications.Act as a liaison between IT, business units, and external vendors.Track and report on change success rates, incidents caused by changes, and continuous improvement metrics.Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess change effectiveness and identify lessons learned.Ensure all changes comply with internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.Maintain detailed records of change requests, approvals, and outcomes for audit purposes.
Qualifications
Required : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field.5+ years of experience as an IT Change Manager, preferably in large-scale ERP or CRM environments.Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and release management.Experience with ITIL or other ITSM frameworks.Familiarity with tools like Salesforce DX, Copado, ServiceNow, and / or Azure DevOpsExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.Occassional onsire client visits may be required.Preferred : Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Change Management Specialist).Experience with Agile or DevOps environments.Background in enterprise transformation or digital modernization projects.
