The successful candidate(s) will oversee the day-to-day financial accounting of the dealership and will report to the Corporate Controller.

The Controller oversees all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.

This is an in-person, on-site position at our dealership.

What you will do :

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements and reports for management and senior executives.
• Develop annual operating and capital budgets in collaboration with department heads and management.
• Monitor budget performance, investigate variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage cash flow,
• Prepare and submit government remittances.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Acceptable Accounting Principles (“GAAP”) and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of fixed and leased assets, depreciation schedules and capital projects.
• Develop, implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with policies.
• Perform the day-to-day financial accounting.
• Prepare financial statements and operating budgets.
• Complete month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Balance and reconcile all schedules.
• Calculate and prepare month-end and year-end reconciliation statements.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Onboard new hires
• Provide Human Resources assistance to the staff.
• Recruit, train, mentor and supervise administrative team members.
