JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and possess expertise in various accounting tasks such as accounts payable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, payroll, budgeting, and financial auditing.
Responsibilities :
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Conduct bank reconciliations on a regular basis
- Oversee payroll functions and ensure timely payments
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Utilize accounting software to maintain financial records
- Participate in financial audits to ensure compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Must have experience working in accounting roles in a software company
- Strong knowledge of Quickbooks, Excel and other accounting software
- Familiarity with accounts payable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, payroll processes
- Ability to conduct financial audits and assist in budgeting activities
- Must be located in Greater Toronto Area, Canada
