JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and possess expertise in various accounting tasks such as accounts payable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, payroll, budgeting, and financial auditing.

Responsibilities :

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
Conduct bank reconciliations on a regular basis
Oversee payroll functions and ensure timely payments
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
Utilize accounting software to maintain financial records
Participate in financial audits to ensure compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Must have experience working in accounting roles in a software company

Strong knowledge of Quickbooks, Excel and other accounting software

Familiarity with accounts payable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, payroll processes

Ability to conduct financial audits and assist in budgeting activities

Must be located in Greater Toronto Area, Canada
