Job Summary
Under general direction, the HRIS Data Analyst will collaborate with the People & Culture (HR) team to deliver a transformational HRIS system.
How you will make an impact :
- Mine and leverage substantial amounts of data from a variety of sources - help the business clean and optimize data for preparation to load into our new HRIS.
- Identify opportunities and assist the organization with making data-driven decisions.
- Research data discrepancies, confirm accuracy and integrity of all data entered, and ensure information is available on a timely basis.
- Develop and maintain dashboard level management reporting.
- Deliver research and analytics to enable discussions on operational performance and industry benchmarks.
- Translate business requirements into process maps and scalable data models - coordinate with Technology teams for development and management of Data Warehouses.
- Explore new internal and external sources of information to uncover new business opportunities at all levels of the business.
- Identify data gaps in reporting; provide recommendations, solutions, and implementation of strategies to acquire and report on such information.
- Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as clients, District Managers, Unit Managers, Supervisors, etc.
- Function as the Data Project Manager for the system roll out and implementation.
About you :
- Under-graduate degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, Computer Science or Engineering.
- Must have worked as a HRIS Data Analyst within a HRIS Environment.
- Must have had previous firsthand (direct working experience) with Power BI or similar data tools.
- Must have advanced Excel skills (Advanced formulas, Power Query, VBA & Macros etc.).
- Knowledge of database architecture and management.
- Must have experience with SQL scripting.
- Must have relevant ETL and / or Report Development experience.
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
