What will you do?

As a Regional Project Manager focusing on the Ontario region, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects in the Low voltage power distribution sector working closely with electrical contractors, distributors or industrial customers and managing multiple projects to the tune of 7 Million CAD to 12 Million CAD.

More Specifically you will :

  • Effectively manage large projects simultaneously.
  • Prepare, review and book customer orders / revisions to orders.
  • Review customer orders and checks consistency and completeness in cooperation with all involved stakeholders on both customer side and Siemens' sales or project management organization.
  • Maintain constant communication with customers, outside contractors or other stakeholders.
  • Initiate sales orders / purchase orders to vendors according to customer requirements.
  • Ensure timely shipment / billing of equipment.
  • Interface with factory and product / marketing groups to resolve configurations and technical changes.
  • Evaluate and monitor profitability for sales orders in backlog.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 8+ years of successful experience working as a project manager.
  • PMP certification is highly desirable.
  • Education in electrical engineering or technical aptitude in electrical distribution field
  • Proven experience driving large projects.
  • Demonstrated Business and Project Management experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.
  • Strong skills in MS office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • SAP or similar ERP system experience an asset.
  • 10% travel to customer sites within Ontario region.
