Operating across Europe, North America, and APAC with an expanding SaaS portfolio, Dext is seeking a Strategic Senior Manager of Account Growth in our Canadian office to lead our growth strategy across the Account Management team.

As part of the leadership team for North America, the successful individual will have a strong Saas business background and will illustrate a passion for the success of Dext’s partners.

The role - what you’ll do :

Reporting to our General Manager in North America, you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Managers in maintaining strong relationships with clients, driving customer success, minimizing risk, and fostering revenue growth while enhancing the team's skills and operational efficiency.

The day-to-day :

  • Day-to-day management of the Account Management team for North America
  • Over-deliver on Net New MRR (monthly recurring revenue) targets, retention, cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Iterate existing successful global processes, support the creation of local processes and work with the local teams to adapt and deliver world-class sales expansion and account management experiences.
  • Support Sales operating performance across North America.
  • Own Account Management operating performance across North America including retention and expansion.
  • Work closely with corporate headquarters development, operations and product management teams to convey evolving customer requirements, handle technical and operations requests and act as a manager for the teams that both champion and guide our customers in their deployment of our technologies.
  • Work with cross-functional leaders to deliver Dext’s world-class Customer journey.
  • Identify points of risk and opportunity to drive retention and increase sales.
  • Analyze customer data to generate insights and performance reports. Use this data to provide recommendations on strategies for maximizing revenue.
  • Advocate for customer needs / issues across departments (Marketing, Product).
  • Evaluate team performance and provide ongoing coaching to ensure success.
  • Support the professional development of team members through mentorship and guidance.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through KPI tracking, motivation, and clear objectives.

  • Proven experience as a Manager in Sales or Account Management.
  • A proactive and results-oriented leader who consistently meets or exceeds targets.
  • Strong skills in coaching and developing talent, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Analytical, data-driven, and skilled at refining strategies based on sales metrics.
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
  • The ability to plan, execute and deliver multiple projects while staying organized and delivering against expectations.
  • Excellent business writing skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Experience forecasting revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated experience working towards targets / quotas.
  • Experience within a high-growth or change environment.
  • Experience in SaaS-based businesses and implementing and cross-selling a Multi-Product Platform.
  • Active listening skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • Highly skilled in delivering expert-level consultative sales.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and accounting industry knowledge is a plus.

The Interview Process :

  • A more in-depth discussion with the manager 45 minutes.
  • A Case Presentation meeting with members of the Leadership Team 60 minutes.
  • A final conversation with our CEO and Sales Leader in another region 30 minutes.
