As an Organizational Development Partner, you won't just be part of the team - you will play a key role in co-creating innovative talent management and organizational development processes and programs.

This role involves close collaboration with our EDI and talent acquisition teams, all falling under the exciting umbrella of Talent and Organizational Effectiveness.

As a seasoned and strategic thought partner, your role will involve driving initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.

Your focus will be on putting our three-year strategy into action, ensuring tangible, measurable results, and extending the reach of talent management and Organizational Development practices throughout WorkSafeBC.

Your expertise in change and OD practices will shine as you partner with senior leaders through coaching and facilitation to guide leadership development and succession planning initiatives.

Where you'll work

At WorkSafeBC, we offer a model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.

In this role, you will work primarily from our Richmond office, with some flexibility to work from your home in B.C.

What you'll do

As an Organizational Development Partner , you will :

  • Guide programs and strategies within a large, unionized organization to develop our leaders and maximize the potential of our workforce.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, assess organizational needs and trends to proactively design organizational development strategies and programs aligned with business goals
  • Support change initiatives by providing guidance, tools, and resources to teams undergoing organizational change
  • Co-Design and develop programs to address skill gaps and promote continuous learning, thereby building a pipeline of effective and skilled leaders.
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders at various levels to enhance their leadership capabilities.
  • Work in close partnership with the various People & Culture teams to strategize, develop and implement various programs to ensure effective talent management practices.
  • Actively work to create a positive and inclusive organizational culture that fosters employee satisfaction and retention.

Your background and experience

  • Master's Degree in leadership development, adult education, organizational behavior or other equivalent behavioral science.
  • Coaching certification and / or micro-credentials in areas of expertise.
  • A minimum offive (5) years of recent experience developing senior leaders within an intermediate to large organization, including experience planning, executing, and delivering organizational development initiatives and senior leadership succession planning.
  • Proven experience in designing and facilitating organizational development, change management, and leadership development.

  • Strong understanding of organizational dynamics, culture, and best practices in Talent Management and Organizational Development.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to drive initiatives from concept to implementation.
  • Leadership Circle Profile certification is considered an asset.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Salary : $105,820 - $128,571 / annually
