Warehouse Worker

Duration : 2 monthscontract
Pay Rate : BR / hr
Shift : Monday Friday 1st shift 8 : 30am5 : 00pm
The Associate Warehouse Workeris responsible to provide superior sales support and customerservice by working with the distribution team through the receivingwarehousing and order fulfillment functions as well asorganizational Lean objectives.
An 18month probationary position isrequired to achieve T06.
Principle Dutiesand Responsibilities :
Responsible for thepreparation and shipping of outbound parcels and receipt of inboundproduct
Maintain functional expertise byreviewing and retaining task related ERP systemtransactions
Contribute to team goals byaccomplishing tasks while meeting key performancetargets
Maintain a safe and clean workenvironment by keeping pallet areas racks shelves aislesand
workstations neat andorderly
Prepare Hazmat paperwork forrelated shipments (UPS / FEDEX / LTL)
Prepare Bills of Lading
Maintain inventorycontrol by utilizing appropriate equipment and performing cyclecounts
Maintain quality service byfollowing organizational standards
Otherduties as assigned

Warehouseconditions Adverse Working Conditions :
Erratic temperature control (hot in summer cold inwinter)
Workshop environment is subject tohear cold noise dust and other particles
Operation of large equipment and machinery (i.e. productionmachines and forklifts
Safety Equipment Required :
Mustobserve and abide by any and all safety regulations as required byHilti and Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA)
Proper labeling and handling ofhazardous materials per Hilti and OSHA policy
Must wear steel toe boots safety glasses safety vestand other safety equipment as required when working in thewarehouse and / or operating machinery
Physical Requirements :
Regular heavy lifting of 50 lbs.
Occasional heavy lifting up to 75 lbs.required
Warehouse material handlingequipment and truck loading / unloading
Must be able to tolerate a variable climate prolonged standingrepetitive bending and reaching and climbing up and downladders
Skills :
PC literate; proficient in MicrosoftOffice and Excel
Excellent attention todetail
Good math skills
Power equipment skills (forklift palletjack)
Effective oral communicationskills
Ability to work in a teamenvironment and maintain selfresponsibility
Ability to stay committed maintain integrity and practiceinnovation
Ability to maintain a high senseof urgency
Flexibility in schedulerequired
