About the Opportunity

• Implementing cost standards for materials, labour and overhead
• Monitoring unit cost variance by reviewing bi-weekly purchase price variance reports
• Preparing revenue, COGS and margin analysis reports
• Reconciling raw materials, WIP and finished goods
• Updating bookings and backlog reports
• Providing analysis of manufacturing cost variances
• Reviewing, analyzing, and updating standard costs
• Co-ordination / documentation of quarterly obsolescence and reserve reviews
• Assisting with yearly inventory counts
• Warranty reserve analysis and review
• Quarterly audit requirements and reports
• Assisting in SOX documentation pertaining to operations
• Heavily involved in process improvement initiatives
• Supporting various cost accounting special projects

About You

• CPA or equivalent designation
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• A good understanding of cost accounting with inventory experience in a manufacturing or high-tech environment
• Proficient skills in Excel and ERP systems
• SAP experience would be an asset

Salary Range

$90,000 - $95,000 / year
