Lead Strategic HR Projects That Support Canada’s Defence Mission
Are you a proactive, hands‑on project specialist with deep expertise in Compensation, People and Data Analytics? As the Project Manager, HR People and Data Analytics, you will play an integral, hands‑on action‑oriented role supporting the people and platforms behind Canada’s national defence projects. Working directly within a dynamic HR team, you’ll be responsible for delivering comprehensive HR Systems initiatives and driving process improvements from the ground up—whether it’s configuration, enhancing system capabilities, or automating data flows to ensure a future‑ready HR infrastructure.
In this role, you will be directly involved in hands‑on compensation analytics, including managing the annual salary adjustment cycle, conducting compensation research including economic, performance pay and performance management trends, and leveraging HRMS data to align compensation strategies with business objectives. You will prepare and deliver detailed reports, provide insight for salary planning, and collaborate with leaders to ensure compensation decisions are data‑driven and equitable.
Your technical acumen will be essential as you develop, test, and maintain Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, resolve complex compensation and data issues, and design, develop and maintain HR dashboards that provide actionable insights into workforce, compensation, and performance trends. You will lead the research and implementation of new analytics processes and provide advanced data analytics and technical support to HR colleagues—ensuring robust records management, timely reporting, and high quality deliverables.
This position requires a hands‑on approach to project and risk management, from identifying and scheduling critical deliverables to monitoring project performance and ensuring compliance with HR and corporate objectives. You will foster collaboration and knowledge‑sharing, coach other HR team members, and champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across all HR Systems projects.
